Challenge

Approaching college is fraught with uncertainty for parents and students alike, but if they can have conversations that come from a place of curiosity and not fear or judgement, they can begin to feel confident about their hopes and goals.

Solution

Create an informational microsite for Sophia Learning’s The Talk, a content series capturing real conversations between high school students and their guardians about the pressure, hopes, and uncertainties students feel as they prepare for college.

Who is Sophia Learning?

Sophia Learning partners directly with colleges and universities to offer students free and low-cost online college credit courses. They give students the opportunity to start exploring, with no pressure and no cost.

The brand voice is

Optimistic | Empowering | Human

The design focuses on movement and freeform shapes to match Sophia’s mission to be a positive partner for students that encourages exploration, motivation, and growth.

As part of this activation, 100,000 students received 60 days of Sophia.org classes to try on different career paths, all while earning college credit for FREE.
